Tourism takes a hit as water level of Thekkady lake dips

Forest department and Kerala Tourism Development Corporation reduce the seating capacity in their boating services, rendering tickets scarce for tourists, who mainly come to Thekkady to enjoy boating and watch wildlife. Drinking water projects in the Kumily and Chakkupallom panchayats too affected by the falling water level
