Massive Terror Plot Foiled: Delhi Police Arrests 9 ISI-Linked Operatives Targeting Critical Infrastructure

NEW DELHI: In a major victory for national security, the Delhi Police Special Cell has dismantled a high-profile terror module, arresting nine individuals suspected of having deep ties with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The timely arrests have reportedly foiled a massive coordinated terror plot aimed at crippling India's strategic assets.

According to intelligence sources, the operatives were in the advanced stages of planning synchronized attacks on critical installations, including nuclear power plants, international airports, railway stations, and major power grids across the country. A substantial cache of sophisticated arms, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the suspects during the coordinated raids.

The arrested individuals hail from various parts of the country, including Delhi, Punjab, and Maharashtra, with authorities confirming the presence of foreign nationals among the detainees. Preliminary investigations strongly suggest that the terror module was acting on instructions from handlers across the border and received logistical support from the underworld syndicate run by fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim.

The suspects had been under the radar of central intelligence agencies for several days before the Special Cell executed the arrests. Security has been beefed up at all sensitive locations, and further interrogations are underway to unearth the financial networks and any remaining sleeper cells associated with the group.
