Kerala Assembly Elections 2026: Wildlife incursion, a vote-catcher issue in many constituencies

Wildlife attacks have claimed many lives and ruined farmers financially. So affected are the farmers that they have fielded a candidate in Kozhikode against the State Forest Minister. They are seeking the views of candidates across all constituencies regarding conflict mitigation plans. In at least one-fourth of the constituencies in the State, it is the main topic of electioneering
