Forest dept. all set to build elephant crossings on Gap Road in Idukki
Plan includes building three elephant underpasses, crossing ramps, culverts, and an animal over-bridge along the Munnar–Bodimettu section of NH 85 to safeguard elephant corridors and curb human-wildlife conflict. The NHAI has already sanctioned ₹6.96 crore for the project.
