Elephant calf rescued from abandoned well in Pathanamthitta

Two-year-old calf had fallen into a nearly 20-foot-deep dry well on a private property at Mekkanam. Local people alerted forest officials who broke open a portion of the well and let out the animal, which was later guided towards the forest
