Thiruvananthapuram, April 17: Actor Anusree has strongly reacted to the brutal murder that took place in Vizhinjam, expressing outrage over the deteriorating law and order situation in Kerala.
Taking to social media, the actor questioned the effectiveness of the legal system after watching the viral video of the incident. She said the situation in the state has reached a point where “anyone can do anything to anyone,” reflecting deep concern over public safety.
In her post, Anusree criticised the apparent lack of fear among perpetrators, suggesting that crimes are being committed with the belief that there will be no consequences. She also questioned the purpose of laws if such incidents continue to occur openly.
The reaction comes in the wake of a shocking incident in Vizhinjam, where a man was brutally assaulted and killed on the roadside, reportedly in front of onlookers. The visuals of the attack, widely circulated on social media, have triggered public outrage across the state.
Police have arrested the accused in connection with the case, and further investigation is underway.
